ISO certification was an opportunity to strengthen international bonds

In our industry, ISO 9001:2015 certification is permission to play. It’s necessary to ensure the highest possible quality, reliability, and efficiency in the products we deliver to our customers. And when Eltwin Hyper — our Australia-based organization specializing in soft starters — initiated the process to gain ISO 9001:2015 certification, they had no idea that the pandemic would create significant challenges. Challenges that ultimately led to new opportunities to forge even stronger bonds with the teams in Poland and Denmark.

Despite the odds, Rudra Ghosal, Managing Director at Eltwin Hyper, and his team proceeded with the ISO 9001 certification process: “Without guidance and assistance, this task would be impossible. But we had the support of Eltwin Group, with daily help from the expert team in Poland and broader oversight from the team in Denmark.”

The collaboration forged closer corporate cultural bonds and established a more unified approach to quality and its implications: “Our company culture and mindset changed in two ways. Firstly, across all teams, we endeavor to continuously improve our processes. That’s been very integral to the journey. Secondly, our top-down focus on risk assessment means we can better manage operations from a leadership perspective,” says Rudra.

“Our company culture and mindset changed in two ways.”

The IS0 9001:2015 certification isn’t simply a quality exercise; Eltwin Group’s leadership team now has a comprehensive system to guarantee the best possible products — and strengthen its ambitious growth and CSR strategies.

“When top management takes ownership of quality management, it creates a culture of knowledge-sharing around the entire Eltwin Group because we’re working with the same principles,” concludes Mariusz Gałazkiewicz, Plant Manager at Eltwin Poland.
