Combining Studies with Practical Experience – Welcome Amanda Bork

We were pleased to welcome Amanda Bork as a new student assistant in our R&D department at Eltwin shortly before the summer holidays. Amanda is studying for a bachelor's degree to become an electronics engineer at Aarhus University and has a big interest in hardware design and development.

Already during the first conversation about the student job, the possibility of a bachelor project in collaboration with Eltwin was mentioned. This became the starting point for an exciting project that Amanda is now working on together with her fellow student Jacob Jungersen Hansen.

“It’s truly motivating to work on a project that Eltwin can actually use. It gives me a sense of relevance and responsibility, and I experience great support from my colleagues – whether it’s about technical questions or project-related sparring,” says Amanda.

Jacob is also studying electronics engineering. He previously studied health technology for two years but switched to electronics when he discovered a particular interest in hardware development. Jakob describes himself as a generalist who works broadly within electronics.

The collaboration between Jacob, Amanda and Eltwin on the bachelor project was a natural fit, and Jacob sees great value in working closely with a company. It allows for realistic and practical solutions to real-world challenges – not just an academic exercise.

We look forward to following Amanda and Jacob’s project and are excited to see how their work can contribute to the development at Eltwin. Welcome aboard!
