Welcome to Sigmundur I Gardi and Alex Foxdal Schmidt

We are happy to welcome both Sigmundur I Gardi and Alex Foxdal Schmidt to our R&D department.

Sigmundur is starting as an R&D Engineer, working with hardware. He comes with relevant experience and an education as an Energy Engineer with specialisation in Power Electronics and Drives. Sigmundur says:

“I like being a part of Eltwin and the R&D department where I get to work in a smaller team with both freedom, responsibility, and flexibility.”

Sigmundur is soon moving to Aarhus from Aalborg so he can spend more of his spare time playing music and enjoying time off the road. We understand his decision!

Alex is new R&D Test Engineer on the team and comes with a backpack full of experience, working as both a Test Technician and Development Consultant. At Eltwin, Alex will be a part of a skilled test team that supports the R&D department's tests. When not at Eltwin, Alex has previously been an elite bowler, but now spends more time on music and darts. He says about his new position:

“I must highlight Eltwin Young. I haven’t seen that at other companies, and it gives a great opportunity for young employees to create strong bonds. I look forward to that.”

We are glad to have both of them joining us, and we congratulate them on their new positions.
