Health campaign supports children of the pandemic

Eltwin Denmark joins the national health campaign Tæl Skridt (track your steps) and donate the total amount of steps from the first two days of the campaign to Danmarks Indsamling, an united fundraising Danish appeal.

The employees tracked 1,237,126 steps leading to a donation of DKK 12,371 rounded to the nearest thousand DKK 13,000.

We are proud to support the children affected by the coronavirus pandemic crisis and thank all participating employees for their enthusiasm and motivation.

Danmarks Indsamling is a union of 12 humanitarian organizations and Danmarks Radio (DR). Once an year, Danmarks Indsamling helps people in some of the world’s poorest countries reach some of the UN’s global goals.

The 2021 focus is all on the children affected by the corona crisis. The aid goes to those children who do not receive emergency medical care and vital vaccines because the health system has broken down. To those children who risk dying of starvation or malnutrition because their families can no longer earn money for food. It goes to war-affected and orphaned children and young people, who need extra protection and care. And it goes to all those children who are slowly losing hope for a better future because their school is closed indefinitely.
