Welcoming Two New Interns to Eltwin

We’re excited to welcome two new interns, Sigrid and Valdemar, to Eltwin. Both have joined us with curiosity and a strong desire to gain hands-on experience while putting their studies into practice.

Sigrid is currently studying Electrical Power Engenieering at Aarhus University and has joined our R&D department. Her path to Eltwin started during her studies, when she heard about Eltwin from one of her lecturers, which sparked her interest in the company. When it came time to find an internship, she decided to reach out to Eltwin with an unsolicited application.

She is eager to apply the technical knowledge she has gained through her studies and gain a deeper understanding of how testing, projects, and engineering processes work in a real business environment.

“For me, it’s about putting theory into practice. We learn a lot at university, but it’s completely different to experience how projects, test setups, and procedures work in a real company. I’m excited to get hands-on experience and learn from experienced colleagues.”

Valdemar is studying Value Chain Management at VIA and is completing his internship in our Planning and Internal Sales team. After meeting the team and learning more about Eltwin during the interview process, he left with such a positive impression that he didn't send out any other applications.

In his role, he is working with production planning, order handling, and capacity coordination. He is particularly interested in understanding how decisions in one part of the organisation impact the rest of the value chain and how departments work together to keep operations running smoothly.

“At VIA, we learn how different processes are connected, but it’s exciting to see how it actually works in practice. I’m looking forward to understanding how the different departments collaborate and how small decisions can influence the bigger picture.”

Although they have only recently joined Eltwin, both interns describe their first weeks as a very positive experience. From day one, they have felt welcomed by their colleagues and have quickly become part of their teams. They especially highlight the openness of their coworkers, the down-to-earth environment, and the willingness of everyone to share knowledge, answer questions, and help them learn.

We’re delighted to have Sigrid and Valdemar on board and look forward to following their journey over the coming months as they continue to learn, contribute, and grow professionally.
