Welcome to Casper Friis

We are pleased to welcome Casper Friis as our new Technical Key Account Manager at Eltwin.

Casper brings 17 years of experience in product management, working to connect customer needs with technology and translate insights into product development. Before that, he spent 2.5 years in Greenland in the local energy supply sector and began his career within electronic component development and customer support.

Starting at Eltwin feels like returning to familiar territory for Casper: “Even though I haven’t worked with development in detail recently, I feel it’s coming back to me.” Casper has a Master in Power Electronics and Drives from Aalborg University, like a great deal of our R&D team also do.

In his new role, he will ensure that real customer needs shape our product specifications and solutions. As he puts it, “I want to deliver something that brings value to our customers and a solution that is more what they need and not only what they want.”

Casper describes his first week as “a warm welcome,” highlighting the friendly culture and his quick involvement in ongoing projects.

Outside of work, he enjoys running, cycling, and following almost any sport - especially football - and has recently taken up a new hobby in Oldtimers he looks forward to pursuing once the weather improves.
