Welcome to Tobias Dalgaard Nielsen, Lars Bay Alexandersen and Jakob Schmidt

We’re thrilled to welcome three new colleagues - Tobias, Lars, and Jakob to our R&D department!

Tobias joins us with a strong background in embedded software and control systems, having previously worked on sensor technologies for heavy machinery and will be joining our R&D Software team.

Tobias is excited to be part of a team where he already knew a few familiar faces. “It’s nice to be here,” he says. “The tasks fit well with what I enjoy doing, and it’s great to have time to really dive into the technical details”. Outside of work, Tobias enjoys beach volleyball, strength training, gaming, and long walks with his dog.

Lars began his career as an electrician and gradually transitioned into software and hardware design. With lots of experience, he’s now focused on hardware development and contributing ideas to our product design processes as a part of our R&D Hardware team.

What drew Lars to the company was the organizational culture: “I thrive in a flat structure,” he shares. “It’s refreshing to be in a place where hierarchy doesn’t get in the way of collaboration”. In his free time, Lars enjoys football, cycling, and has even been a part of Team Rynkeby.

Jakob also started as an electrician before becoming an electronics engineer. His journey has taken him through consulting, system integration, and power electronics development. Jakob is joining our R&D Hardware team.

Jakob’s enthusiasm for his new position is clear: “I think it’s great to meet people across departments - there’s a good atmosphere here, and I’m really looking forward to joining some of the social activities.”

When he’s not engineering, Jakob enjoys skiing, playing guitar and brewing beer. He’s also looking forward to joining some of the company’s social activities.
