Are you a structured engineer with a passion for compliance, testing, and certification?
If so, this is your opportunity to join our Test and Compliance department.
About the Role
As a Compliance Engineer, you will play a key role in our product development process, ensuring that products meet relevant standards and regulatory requirements. You will join a small, skilled team consisting today of 3 compliance and test engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare compliance matrices based on product specifications
- Do test management and test time estimation
- Perform and document compliance testing
- Act as compliance responsible in development projects
- Coordinate with and maintain contact to third-party certification bodies (e.g., Intertek, UL, VDE)
- Coordinate production test setup in collaboration with PTA
- Support R&D engineers on compliance-related topics
- Participate in design reviews and FMEA activities
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (electrical, electronics, or similar)
- Experience with standards regarding EMC, LVD, UL etc. within power electronics, especially motor drives
- Knowledge of the US market in relation to certification is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with ability to extract key insights from data
- Excellent documentation skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and root cause analysis mindset
- Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
- A strong team player
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
